After a short introduction to Augmented Reality (AR) we show how this fascenating new technique can be applied in the field of arts.

 

Gerhard Knolmayer started a collaboration with Sarah Montani, an internionally recognized expert in bridging art and technolgy, in summer 2022. He applied Augmented Reality Art objects ("Metaspheres") provided by Sarah when visiting documenta 15 in Kassel.

Gerhard and Sarah started collaboration with D3-artists APTIQ and
Jamie F.G when they decided to apply AR techniques to environmental issues. Results of this collaboration have been shown at Art Lab California and will be on display at the New York City ART EXPO.
